Infant Feeding Consultations are designed to identify the why behind feeding challenges—not just manage the symptoms. We take the time to understand your baby's feeding skills, oral motor development, medical history, and your family's goals so we can create practical solutions that fit your everyday life.
This consultation may be helpful if your baby:
Has difficulty latching to the breast or bottle
Refuses or struggles with bottle feeding
Feeds for long periods but doesn't seem satisfied
Frequently coughs, chokes, clicks, or leaks milk during feeds
Has reflux, prematurity, oral motor concerns, or a NICU history
Is gaining weight slowly or feeding inefficiently
Is transitioning between breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, donor milk, or formula
Is preparing to return to childcare or has an upcoming caregiver transition
During your visit, we may:
Complete a comprehensive feeding and oral motor assessment
Observe a feeding
Evaluate latch, positioning, coordination, and feeding efficiency
Recommend bottle and nipple options based on your baby's feeding skills—not trends
Develop an individualized feeding plan tailored to your baby's needs
Provide hands-on caregiver coaching so you leave feeling confident, not overwhelmed
We know that every family feeds their baby differently. Whether you're breast/chest feeding, bottle feeding, or combination feeding, our role is to support your family's goals with compassionate, inclusive, and evidence-based care.
Initial visit, follow up visits, and text message support available.

The first year of life is filled with incredible growth, and every baby develops at their own pace.
Early Development Consultations focus on understanding your baby's unique strengths and identifying opportunities to support their growth through everyday play and routines. We believe that small changes can make a big difference, and our goal is to empower caregivers with practical strategies they can confidently use at home.
This consultation may be helpful if your baby:
Was born prematurely or spent time in the NICU/hospital
Prefers turning their head to one side or has a flat spot on their head
Seems stiff, floppy, or asymmetrical
Is having difficulty with tummy time
Isn't reaching expected motor milestones
Has a medical diagnosis that may affect development
You simply want guidance on how to support healthy development from the very beginning
During your visit, we may:
Complete a comprehensive developmental assessment
Evaluate motor skills, muscle tone, movement patterns, reflex integration, posture, and symmetry
Develop a personalized home program that fits naturally into your family's daily life
Discuss whether additional therapy or referrals are recommended, if appropriate
At Thrive, we know that development happens during everyday moments with the people who know and love your baby most. Our role is to help you understand your baby's development, answer your questions, and give you practical, evidence-based strategies that build confidence and support your baby's growth.

The weeks before your baby arrives are the perfect time to prepare—not just the nursery, but yourself.
Our Newborn Readiness Consultation is a personalized prenatal education visit designed to help you feel informed, confident, and supported as you prepare to welcome your baby. Rather than overwhelming you with generic newborn advice, we'll focus on the topics most relevant to your family, your goals, and your feeding plans.
During your consultation, we may discuss:
Creating a personalized feeding plan before baby arrives that aligns with your goals
What to expect during the first hours, days, and weeks after birth
Newborn feeding cues and how to know if your baby is feeding well
Typical newborn behavior, sleep, and soothing strategies
Tummy time, positioning, and activities that support healthy development from day one
Preparing siblings and caregivers to support your baby
You'll leave with personalized recommendations, trusted resources, and a clear plan so you can spend less time worrying about what-ifs and more time enjoying your baby's arrival.
We believe that confident caregivers create thriving babies. Our goal is to help you feel prepared, supported, and empowered before your little one is even born—because the best time to build a strong foundation is now.
